The IR light released from these cameras cannot be detected by the human eye and therefore does not make the camera visible to everyone. The best thing is that these cameras can be bought in a cheap manner thereby allowing you to save costs in terms of security systems installed in your house.
There is absolutely no need to believe in the fact that the infrared light gives away the position of the camera. The IR bounce back is reduced to such low levels that the realization of white hazy image is redundant in these type of cameras. The only disadvantage is that there can be an over exposure of the image in case the distance of the object being monitored is more that the specified IR range for the camera. |
